If we said please. . . ?

Maybe if all of us in the U.S. who wanted a porn-free internet search engine, joined together and asked Google to provide a family friendly choice here, they would.. . ?. . .

At least they could. . . . .

'Internet giant Google promised Friday to work harder to eliminate pornography from its Chinese Web pages as state media reported authorities had shut down some of its search services.
"Google has continually taken measures against vulgar content, particularly material that is harmful to children, on the Internet in China," a statement by the company said.
"Google is currently stepping up its efforts in this regard." ' Breitbart.com , June 19

So- the technology is available.

It wouldn't infringe on "America's Free Speech" to offer the option of a "clean" search engine to those (families, schools, and businesses) who would gratefully choose it.
