"Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves — and the only way they could do this is by not voting."

American Airlines

American Airlines has decided to put unfiltered Internet access on their airplanes. This is potentially an enormous problem. Imagine flying American and the passenger next to is viewing porn on his/her laptop. What do you do? Do you report it to the flight attendant? This is just another responsibility of the flight attendant- policing the Internet. What if the flight attendant says it is not porn and the passenger continues viewing it? WHAT IF YOUR CHILD IS SITTING NEXT TO SOMEONE VIEWING PORN ON AN AIRPLANE???

Unfiltered Internet access on airplanes is a bad choice.

What you MUST do:
E-mail American Airlines Communications: corp.comm@aa.com, or call AA headquarters at, 817-963-1234, and press 0. Tell them to correct this mistake and insist they apply filters to Internet services immediately.

Thank you Girls Against Porn for taking a stand and encouraging AA to filter the Internet!!

The Most Powerful Commercial

You have got to watch this!

TV Show- 90210

This is unbelievable that we are dealing with something like this:

On the heels of its teen-sex-and-drug series Gossip Girl, on September 1st the CW launched 90210, a spin-off/sequel to the 1990s series Beverly Hills 90210. After the recent round of disastrous publicity which the CW received for its Gossip Girl ads, the network decided to withhold previews of 90210 from critics or advertisers. Now we know why: the 90210 premiere featured an implied scene of high school children engaged in oral sex. This scene appeared in the show's first minutes, at 8:00 p.m. ET (only 7:00 p.m. in the Central and Mountain time zones). The episode also contained underage drinking, scads of profanity, and a scene in which two teens tour the set of a pornographic movie...and all this was on the teen-targeted program's first episode!

"The CW Network has openly, wantonly and eagerly violated every business tenet of the broadcast industry. They shocked viewers during the family hour by depicting high school children engaged in oral sex in their car; they sucker-punched their ultimate customers – the program’s sponsors, by not adequately disclosing the nature of this scene in the program; and they directly and intentionally marketed this adult fare to children," said PTC President Tim Winter.

McDonald's Does It Again

A document shows McDonald's requested a 10% "group discount" to a recent pro-homosexual training seminar.

The conference, held in Austin, TX, was designed to train employees how to effectively advance homosexuality in the workplace and to persuade top corporate officials to embrace the lifestyle by offering special recognition and benefits to gay employees.

For example, McDonald's health benefits package includes full coverage for sex-change procedures, post-operative recovery, and mental health counseling throughout the process.

Action-
VERY IMPORTANT. Call your local McDonald's. Speak with the manager. Tell him or her (in a polite manner) that you will be boycotting McDonald's until they stop promoting the homosexual agenda, including homosexual marriage. To find the phone number of your nearest McDonald's, click here. Enter your zip code and click "Enter," then click the "Visit/Apply" link for your store, then click the "Click Here to see what's happening at the restaurant" link. The phone number will appear.

Presidential Candidates and Pornography

Taken from an email from Morality In Media:

NEW YORK (August, 11, 2008) – On August 7, Morality in Media received an email that stated in part: “As a very concerned citizen, I have to wonder why pornography isn't even an issue on the radar screen in the upcoming…elections. I can certainly understand why certain sectors of the population don't bring it to the forefront, and I can understand why candidates don't address it, but why don't organizations like MIM bring it up CONSTANTLY? I'd really like to nail down the candidates on their views and the methods they plan to use to enforce pornography laws, then hold them to it. Please, please, please do what you can - my letters and emails to candidates go unanswered!”

Robert Peters, President of Morality in Media, had the following comments:

In April 2008, MIM commissioned Harris Interactive to ask this question in a national survey: “Were the next president to do all in his or constitutional power to ensure that federal obscenity laws are enforced vigorously against commercial distributors of hardcore pornography, would you support or oppose the President in this matter?” An astounding 75% said they would support the President; only 19% said they wouldn’t. These poll results prompted no response from the Presidential candidates.

In May, MIM organized a conference at the National Press Club, followed by an orderly demonstration at the Justice Department, to call attention to the Department’s failure to enforce federal obscenity laws vigorously. Both John McCain and Barack Obama were invited to attend the Conference or to send a written statement expressing their views on enforcement of federal obscenity laws.

A representative of the McCain Campaign called to say that the Senator could not attend but they hoped to send either Senator Sam Brownback or former Senator Dan Coates. Neither could attend. Another representative of the McCain Campaign called to say a written statement would be forthcoming. No written statement was ever issued. The Obama Campaign did not respond at all.

After the Conference, follow-up letters were sent to both candidates. Neither candidate has responded to those letters. MIM members and others were also urged to contact the candidates. The Obama Campaign responded to one email (which asked the candidate to state his views on enforcement of federal obscenity laws) with a general letter that did not mention pornography or obscenity.

Indiana Grandmas

In Indiana, the county council has granted business to a porn shop. Since then, some grandmas have taken up to fighting porn in creative ways. When one grandma, Joyce Gillaspy, sees a truck in the parking lot:

"We call and let the companies know their trucks are in this porn store, and they don't want their trucks being seen [there]," says Gillaspy.

Another genius idea is:

"When customers pull in, we take photographs and [license] plate numbers, and then the War-Line deciphers which ones they want to put on," said Debbie Howard.

War-Line is a website that gives voice to protesters.

Thank you, Indiana Grandmas!!
